“To me, an artwork is a message, the transmission of something hidden that resonates directly with our soul through contemplation. I appreciate art from diverse cultures, but as an African descendant living in Western countries, African art is how I reconnect to my roots… a gateway to identity healing, guidance, and existential strength.“
I support projects and initiatives aimed at strengthening the presence of African diaspora arts and cultural heritage in the United States.
